The Challenge
Low health literacy remains a critical barrier in mental health pharmacotherapy. Patients prescribed SSRIs often struggle with complex titration schedules and misunderstood side-effect profiles, leading to poor adherence and suboptimal clinical outcomes.
The Solution
I developed a health literacy toolkit that translates high-level pharmacological data into accessible, patient-centered education modules. By utilizing natural language processing and structured data visualization, the project empowers patients to manage their safe use of SSRIs effectively.
